The 8 Weeks That Changed My Life
It’s hard to believe how far my weight loss journey has come since May when I started my first 8 Week Core Challenge. I had a poor attitude when I started, calling it my “8 weeks of house arrest” and other similar titles. I was convinced that it absolutely would not work, but now that I’ve completed an 8 week journey, kept up my healthy eating habits, and embarked on another 8 week challenge, I’m happy to say that I can alternatively title this something like, The 8 Weeks That Changed My Life: New & Improved Kate.
I’m glad to admit that this is the one time I’m happy I was wrong. Since starting this life-changing journey in May, I’ve lost 50lbs and 22 inches! That’s 20% of my original size.
Looking at this before and after photo amazes me, and it’s rather telling of the journey as a whole. The major shift that has taken place in my life is not just physical, but mental and emotional as well. The journey has been filled with so many learnings and realizations, I don’t even know if it’s possible to list all of them!
While there are so many things that I didn’t realize about this journey (more on those soon), I’ll start with what is probably the biggest learning of this entire process and what’s made it successful for me:
Weight loss is a personal journey. You can’t do it just because you want to look “prettier” or “skinnier”, or because someone else wants you to. You have to do it for yourself, for your own personal health and wellness, and for no one other than you. When you get to a point where you are happy with who you are, you can advance along the arduous journey to health and wellness success.
Starting and sticking with the journey can be surrounded by fear, but no matter where you are in your journey, there will always be fear. Fear of not being able to lose it, fear of gaining it back, fear of not being good enough. Don’t let your fear impede your process. Find your personal strength to overcome it and find support in friends and family to help you through your journey.
I found personal success by following the 8-week Core Transformation program, which is a 3-phase process designed to decrease fat and improve energy levels. The 8-week Core Challenge consists of “clean” high-quality protein powder (gluten free, no soy protein, no artificial colors or flavors, no GMO) and “boosts” combined with a healthy eating plan.
I want everyone I know to be successful in reaching their personal health and fitness goals. So if you’re interested in learning more about the plan I followed and products I used to achieve my results, let me know!
Your progress is great! Congratulations! It really is inspiring and motivating to see other (NORMAL!) people able to achieve these goals!

hi, i am interested in this plan. iv been on my journey since last yr September and i have started and stopped many a time. thankfully i have either lost or remained stagnant and not gaining. im about 23-25lbs down from my heaviest which is not were i would have hoped to be by now. however i have not really been doing much and now i plan to pick up were i left off and go in full force. everyday is a struggle and i have issues with knowing what to eat and when to eat it and hell even how to prepare it. ur an inspiration. i still have about 70+lbs to loose. i plan to give my self small goals, like lets get to 20lbs by august and in august il set another goal for like October/nov. please do let me know this 8 week challenge. im also scared of going back to old habits after i lose. and i just need motivation really, because my life is filled with emotional and mental ups and downs. congrats on ur success kate!
i found u on posh btw.
