Festival Inspired
It seems like I’m always saying this lately, but this weekend was jam-packed for Jon & me! We had our housewarming party and got to share our home with friends and family, and then biked Centennial Trail, a 60-mile ride, roundtrip. To say we are tired is an understatement! We’re headed into the week at full speed as well and have another busy weekend planned with a friend’s wedding and a family gathering.
The warm weather has been killing me lately. While I enjoy hot weather a lot more now than I did when I was heavier, anything above the mid-80s is still my limit. I’ve actually bought shorts this year, the first time in probably five years, at least. Besides shorts on weekends, and capris for work, I’ve been rocking the skirts on both weekdays and weekends. This one I’m wearing here is actually a favorite of mine as it’s super comfortable for both an office setting and weekend errands. This weekend, I went with a slightly festival-inspired look with slip-ons, edgy jewelry, and a jean sweatshirt jacket. I was quite comfortable and loved how laidback and cool this look was!
