It seems like ages ago where my closet was bursting at the seams with dresses of all shapes, colors, and patterns! Remember the days when I pretty much only wore dresses? Now, I only have a handful of dresses in my closet and I rarely wear them I’ve definitely transitioned to being more of an athleisure and jeans kind of gal, but I’m still a sucker for a pretty dress, especially if it’s polka dots!

When I was shopping at the Seattle Premium Outlets for Mother’s Day, I scored this dress and denim jacket at J. Crew Factory for a STEAL! My clutch was also a great find at the Kate Spade store there too. I promise I was shopping for my mom… but I had to take a peek at some things for myself too.
To me, this dress is what summer’s all about and just screams girl-next-door. It’s fresh, flirty, and cool without trying too hard.
