Prepping for Spring
Who else wants more of that Seattle sun? Just in time for the first day of spring, Seattle has reminded us of just how beautiful those glorious, clear, bright, sunny days can be. I still can’t even believe how beautiful Sunday was! After soooo much rain I’m ready for the next season. In fact, I was so inspired by all that nice weather I dug up these pictures from last year that I forgot to share. I can’t wait till I can regularly start wearing skirts and wedges again!
I’m really itching to start swapping out my winter closet with my spring essentials (think swapping sweaters for tanktops, wool socks for sandals) but I haven’t had the chance yet! I hate saying I’m busy (because really, who isn’t it?) but I feel like I’ve been dashing around like a madwoman lately and our impromptu weekend stay at friend’s in Sandy Point, Washington, certainly didn’t help me get any further ahead on cleaning my house. However, we did make some big steps for our Cuba trip in May, so at least I still had a productive weekend!
This spring and summer I’m going to make a valiant attempt at wearing more skirts and dresses, so I’ve rounded up some of my current favorites – be sure to let me know if there are any others you’d add!

I am in love with this outfit! It looks incredible on you. I can’t wait to try my own version.
Thank you so much! It’ll be fun recreating your own version of this!! I actually got the Old Navy chambray top at my local Goodwill last year, so you can def do it for less, too!
Fantastic look Kate. Love those glasses and that infectious smile.
