Navy Scallops & Life Lately

I seriously can’t believe we’re nearly a week into August. All weekend long I’ve been asking myself where summer went. Is it just me or does it seem like it’s been flying by this year?! This month seems busier than usual, so I figured I’d give a little update on all the things I (and we) have planned this month! So many exciting things coming this month, I can’t wait!

On Friday night, I went to PRO Sports Club‘s HIGH Fitness event. I had never heard of HIGH Fitness, but I had so much fun! It’s similar to Zumba in that it’s a fast-paced aerobic workout with choreographed routines to fun songs. Seriously so much fun!
On Saturday, we went to the Mother of All Garage Sales in the Everett Historic District. There were over 100 homes hosting garage sales and we scored some great deals on vintage items that are perfect for our house. We may have picked up a few items for the wedding, too!
On Sunday, we went to Bellingham for my microblading appointment with Arched Artistry. I was so nervous but I am loving the finished product! I can’t wait to share more about the process and procedure, so let me know if you have any questions that I can answer!

As for the rest of this month, we’ve got a garage sale this weekend with our families and we’re checking out iFLY Seattle! I’ve also got a boudoir photoshoot, our engagement photos, and a regular photoshoot. Plus, there’s my day job somewhere in all of that so coffee may be fueling my August! We’re ending the month with Jon’s annual family trip to Ocean Shores, so hopefully we can get some R&R that weekend!

And, a few quick notes about the dress! You may recall earlier this summer I shared this same dress in hot pink and I loved it so much I had to get it in the navy, too! I can tell this navy is going to be a staple in the fall, too. It’ll be perfect to pair with burgundy, gray, and cognac!
