Kiehl's Apothecary Preparations
What is better than great skincare products? Skincare products that are specifically tailored to my skin!
This December I stopped in at the University Village Kiehl’s to try out the Apothecary Preparations, a personalized, in-store only service. I had the opportunity to sit down with a specialist and discuss my skincare concerns (dryness & aging). After going over my areas of concerns, a special serum was made just for me!
My custom serum is comprised of Kiehl’s Skin Strengthening Concentrate, plus two targeted complexes. My targeted complexes were redness and wrinkles, though you can also pick from rough texture, large pores, and dullness.
Once your selections are made, the skincare specialist prints out a customized label for your serum and box. (Seriously, how cute is this?!) At home, before your first use, you’ll mix in the two complexes and start using your custom serum!
The serum is great because it’s not too oily or heavy and it’s really helped keep my skin hydrated during this cold, dry spell we’ve been having!
