Mixing Black & Blue

Rebuilding my wardrobe has been fun (but spendy). I’ve found I’m more apt to try new styles, like this A-line coat with shortened sleeves. It’s something I never would have tried before, but when I put it on at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I fell in love. Though I’ve ventured away from wearing A-line dresses all the time, this coat was a beautiful addition to my closet and the retro, yet contemporary feel of this coat is much like my updated style. Pairing the navy blue and black was also an unexpected twist for me, and it feels as if it’s ushering in fall!
