Looks like we’re finally getting a bit of a heatwave! It’s nothing like last summer, but I’ll take it. 😉

When I’m trying to beat the heat, I don’t wear too much jewelry. I learned the hard way when I was in Italy that the heat, sweat, and jewelry don’t always mix well. So, when I do wear jewelry in the summer, I try to wear longer pieces.
Lately, I’ve really been getting into stone-inspired pieces and I’ve been obsessed with Kendra Scott. Have you ever wanted a piece of jewelry in a certain combination that they didn’t sell it in? That was always me with the Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace – I wanted a silver chain with a pink stone, but I could only find it on a gold chain. Imagine my surprise when I stopped by the Kendra Scott store this past May when I was in Texas, and found that I could create my own jewelry at the Color Bar. It was so much fun to select the style and hand pick the stone that I wanted.
